Kerama Islands
One of the popular snorkeling spots in Okinawa "Kerama islands" are just 1 hour from Naha city by boat. It's close enough to join the day of your arrival. You may encounter sea turtle or many tropical fish in the sea called "Kerama Blue" which is one of the most transparent seas in the world.
Blue Cave
Blue cave is not only in Italy, but Okinawa! It takes about 1 hour ride from Naha Airport. You would be amazed how beautifully blue the water is!
Sesoko Island
A remote island near Churaumi Aquarium that can be accessed by car. In addition to snorkeling, marine activities such as parasales, sea walkers and banana boats are also available.
Minnajima Island
A remote island that is near the Motobu peninsula, where the Churaumi Aquarium is located. Minnajima Island, which can be accessed from Motobu Peninsula's Toguchi Port, is alternatively called as the Croissant Island and is an island distinctive for its crescent shape.
Nagannu Island
Extremely near to Naha by being 25 minutes away, this is an unihabited island that can only be accessed in tours. The island is surrounded by coral reefs and you can meet many tropical fish. You can play for as long as you want if you apply for a snorkelling set when booking the Sea Bathing Plan.
Cape Zampa
There is a company that distributes snorkeling tours with whale sharks that you cannot experience anywhere else and is becoming popular.
Ishigaki Island
For over 20 years, Ishigaki Island is said to be Japan's best sea according to diving magazines. In fact, Ishigaki Island also has its own Blue Cave and is a very popular snorkelling spot.
Miyako Island
Starting with Yabiji, Japan's largest coral reef that had been designated as a natural monument, Miyakojima's season, scenic even from the island outskirts, is all-year round! You can sometimes see sea turtles here!
There are numerous snorkeling spots in Okinawa, the beach resort that Japan is proud of to present to the world.
