What kind of place is Minna Island? Minna Island is a small island located off the coast of Okinawa's Motobu peninsula. From above, the island is shaped like a croissant so it is sometimes referred to as croissant island. You can access the island in 15 minutes by ferry from Okinawa main island. Tourists visit the island all year round to enjoy marine activities and to bathe in its waters.

Getting to Minna Island. You can get to Minna Island from Toguchi Port by high speed boat. You can get to the island in about an hour from Naha Airport. In the summer season boats run as frequently as one per hour. It can be very convenient, if you plan in advance.
